Like A Cat Takes to Water

Splitter splat pitter pat.
Sloppy paws of a very wet cat.

The bath you ran was much too hot,
You should’ve warned kitty but you forgot.

Fur on a rampage, fuzz on a rant
Racing and zooming down the old bathtub’s slant.

Claws upon porcelain cannot dig in
This is one battle that kitty can’t win.

Greeting the water was kitty’s fate
Sarcastically thinking ‘Oh this is great’.

Slogging on past you she gives you the eye
‘You did that on purpose, You’re not a nice guy.’

With thoughts of revenge still stuck in her head,
She dries herself off with your comfy bed.
