My Half of the World

I run with the moon
Through mountain streams
In thorned forrests.

I run with shadows
Over shards of ice
In ruffled waters.

I've been cut and bruised.
I've been frozen and burned.
Yet I never feel pain.

I've grasped for things
That were never there.
I've imagined things
That could never happen.
Yet I never dreamt.

My world is spinning;
The earth is turning;
I never stop running
To forever be synced
With the world that exists
Under the moon and
Within the shadows.

My Half of the World;
Half of the World.
